Youth Data & Guardian Consent

Version date: 2026-09-01

Iso Analytics stores development information about minor athletes that adult coaches enter. This policy explains the protections around that data and how a parent or guardian controls it. It is a draft prepared for review by qualified counsel before launch.

Who creates accounts

Accounts are created by adults only — coaches and organization administrators. Children do not sign up, do not enter their own data and are not marketed to inside the app.

What is stored about a minor athlete

  • Name, position, height, graduation year and dominant hand (only name is required).
  • Coach evaluation scores and coaching observations.
  • Assigned role, development priority, weekly missions and progress history.
  • Reports a coach has generated and, where shared, approved.

Never stored about a minor

  • Medical records, diagnoses, treatment plans, imaging or injury predictions.
  • Government identifiers, home address, precise location or insurance details.
  • Biometric or face-recognition data, photos, video or audio.
  • Race, ethnicity, religion, political views or sexual orientation.
  • Financial information or advertising identifiers.

Privacy defaults

  • Player profiles are private and are never publicly searchable.
  • Players and parents see only their own approved information.
  • Staff notes and internal evaluation scores are private by default.
  • No public comments, rankings or leaderboards involving minors.
  • No direct messaging between unrelated adults and minor players.
  • No location tracking, contact-list access, camera, photo-library, microphone or health permissions.

Coach-approved sharing only

Nothing about a player reaches a player or guardian until the head coach approves the report. Approval can be revoked at any time, which immediately removes access to the shared report.

AI and minors

AI is used only to draft wording from a coach's own observations. It does not profile children, score them against other children, predict outcomes, or produce medical, injury or recruiting statements. A coach must review and approve every draft before it is shared.

Guardian rights

A parent or guardian may at any time:

  • Review the information stored about their child.
  • Request corrections to the record.
  • Withdraw consent, which ends player and guardian access.
  • Request deletion of the child's record from the organization's roster.

Contact your child's head coach first, since the organization controls the roster, or email us directly and we will route the request. See also the Account Deletion and Data Retention Policy.

Content safety

Every free-text field is screened before it is saved for profanity, sexual content, slurs, harassment and threats, including common evasion patterns. Blocked attempts are logged and repeat offenders can be suspended. There is no upload surface and no open messaging between unrelated adults and minors.
